Unstoppable Goal Setting Momentum

Group Coaching

Spring in April is one of my favorite times of the year. I am inspired by all the flowers who dare to bloom. This month, Work Life Organization dares to help you bloom as well by offering a three week group coaching series called Unstoppable Goal Setting Momentum.

If you have a goal that you have been putting off year after year, this series will help you conquer that goal once and for all! The series starts this Wednesday at 7pm EST/4pm PST. There are still a few seats left for this intimate series designed with busy professionals in mind to do more of what's important with less effort.

Getting Coached

I thought you might find it interesting that coaches get coached too. I recently joined a women's running class designed to help me begin and maintain a consistent running program. Carol Frazey is the owner of The Fit School. Carol is an amazing coach full of energy who insists that no matter what you can always find something positive to say about yourself. You can even check out Carol's Fit School book for more inspiration.

Life Goal Lists

Shopping List

To do lists often get a bad rap because they remind us of what we haven't done or or are putting off. What if we use a list to help us focus instead?

For example, when I use a shopping list, my mind switches to game mode and I only look for items on the list. The list becomes a polarizing filter to help me stay focused in the store.

However when I 'go shopping' without a list, all sorts of unnecessary items wind up in my cart and I spend well over an hour 'just looking'. When I see something, my brain automatically finds a way to fit it into my life regardless of whether it is a priority or not.

That is why I am such a fan of Life Goal Lists. Because these types of lists provide much needed focus, even outside the grocery store.

Sure there is a time when we could just 'go shopping' for our life, but if you are like most adults you need a list to stay focused and to help filter out all the stuff that you don't need.

The next time you are feeling overwhelmed and don't know where to start. Write out a list. Even if it just has one item on it. Be sure that this list only has items that are important to you. Then pick one item and break it down into small enough chunks until you can take action on it.

Don't let another hour go by where you are 'just looking' on the internet or watching TV. Make your Life Goal List inspire you to take values-based action.
